The Decline of the Home Doctor
By the 1970s, physicians largely abandoned routine house calls due to health insurance reforms, the growing reliance on larger diagnostic equipment, expanded transportation access, and increasing economic inefficiency.
However, the shift toward office-based care introduced new challenges: longer wait times, gaps in insurance coverage, shorter and more fragmented visits, overburdened medical staff, delays in care delivery, and unsustainable patient-to-physician ratios.

Our concept
At Baiti Medical, a physician will visit your home or office at a time that fits your schedule. Most consultations can be arranged within one week, while urgent services such as medication administration and wound care are typically available within 24 hours (phone scheduling is strongly encouraged for timely coordination).
We also offer in-home services including blood draws and cardiac monitoring, ensuring comprehensive care delivered directly to you.
our Pay-PER-SERVICE MODEL
Unlike concierge medicine, we do not charge monthly subscription fees. Book as often or as little as you like.

Reducing Financial Burden
The average cost of a physician house call in Connecticut typically ranges from $1,000 to $1,500. At Baiti Medical, our services are priced at approximately one-third of that cost, reflecting our commitment to affordability and improved access to care.
We also provide at-home medication administration and wound care, helping patients avoid unnecessary hospital visits and high out-of-pocket expenses.
For those with insurance, you may choose to submit out-of-network claims using the ICD codes provided in your visit documentation through our EMR.
